NOW LISTENING: Y'AKOTO

First new music feature of the year (how is it February already?) and I’m so excited about this artist. Discovered her a few years ago and boy has her sound and look evolved… sounding better than ever and rocking an enviable aesthetic. Voice, hair and body goals. Currently based in Germany and Paris, I envy her youth which she spent in Ghana, Cameroon (YAY!!), Togo and Chad. Thank goodness for the internet as it seems her music is right now making waves in Germany but not on this side of the world- at least not yet.
