Stella Jean

Italian based label Stella Jean definitely needs to make it Stateside.

From what I can find on the designer, she is of Caribbean heritage 

and sure knows her way around African textiles.

 I think it's hilarious how much I hated African fabrics growing up

Wanted to be as American as possible so stayed far, far away.

Now I wish I had taken some sewing lessons, so I could have my mum purchase some cool fabrics for me and then make some stuff for myself.
