HAPPY MONDAY: OFFICE LOOKS FOR LESS

Who says you have to spend a lot of money  on a power suit to look office smart (see affordable power suit option here though, just in case that's your thing). It's always good to think outside the box when putting together a look. Forget traditional suits instead think of how you can pair an interesting blouse with an interesting skirt or pants. Make it even more unexpected by combining colors that aren't to be expected. I promise you, it's all trial and error. But you wont know if you don't try. The more you play with patterns, texture and color, the quicker you'll notice when things go together. This combo was easy enough as they interestingly enough have similar spaced stripes, but they are different fabrics and not an intended pair. I also just felt that my earrings should stand out a bit so went with green instead of yellow, pink or brown.  I don't particularly subscribe to any hard and fast rules when I put looks together. If it looks good to me, feels comfortable, and doesn't shock my sensibilities, then it's a go.
