HAPPY MONDAY: MINI ODE TO SUMMER

A mini ode to Summer:

Summer, oh Summer. Because you are so short, I find myself running around more than usual. Trying to soak up as much of you before you run away. I didn't think it would be possible to love a season more, and somehow this year, you are outdoing yourself. I promise to cherish and maximize you always. I promise to stay out until sunset and be out there at sunrise. For those few days when the temperature rises above 90degrees, I promise not to complain but to be grateful. I will pleasantly and gently wipe the sweat away without a care in the world. I will drink lots of cold liquids to stay refreshed and cool and I will remind myself that this is but a fleeting moment.
