A DAY WITH LIFEWTR

When LIFEWTR approached me about collaborating with them on their Series 4 bottles, I knew immediately I wanted to be onboard. Every few months, LIFEWTR has been launching a new series of LIFEWTR bottles focused on a unique aspect in art — putting the spotlight on three new artists.

LIFEWTR believes that just as essential as water is to us, so too is INSPIRATION, because it moves us forward by unleashing our creative potential.  That is so fundamentally in sync with who I am and how I see the world.

Thing is, it's funny; we're all so different in so many ways. Some of us like sweet, some like savory. Some of us like to be out all the time and others are homebodies. Some of us could wear black everyday and some like me can't wait to live out loud in full technicolor. In spite of all our differences, there's one thing that every single one us want and need every single day. WATER. It is essential to who we are, after all, the human body is 60% water.

Long story short, I've become quite the avid water consumer and love to have a bottle on hand for walking around the city. Living in Queens, I usually stop by the 7Eleven by my train to pick up a bottle for the day. Minor detour here- I can't be the only one that loves the convenience of 7Eleven. This place has been a lifesaver since well before college. You know you're good when you have a 7Eleven nearby.

So back to the topic at hand, when I found out that LIFEWTR shared with me deets on the Series 4 "Arts In Education" bottles I was excited for a few reasons:

  1. First things first, I love their water- it's refreshing, its purified and pH balance for a clean fresh taste and finish.

  2. The  bottles are super colorful - you guys know I'm a sucker for color

  3. The bottle designs represent art- they feel so NYC, the energy and creativity of this city. It's literally street art on a bottle. I encourage you to actuallyread the stories about not only the inspiration behind the art, the stories of the artists themselves, but also how it all came together. You can also learn about their initiative of getting art back in schools here!

  4. These are collectible style bottles. I literally had someone staring at my hand when I walked around with them- quite the attention grabber for a bottle of water. I almost feel bad disposing of them (recycling) when done.

With a LIFEWTR bottle in hand, and feeling super lifted and super charged, I decided the funnest thing to do, would be to create an afternoon inspired by the art on the bottles, a street art adventure around the city. More to come in Part 2 of this post.

In the meanwhile, find outmore LIFEWTR inspiration  and the Series 4 "Arts In Education" here. And remember, these are available at your local 7-Eleven. You can usethis locator to find the one nearest you.
